After the exact 9 months, not a little more and less, I finally got back to Estonia, where I was planning to stay until graduation at least.

Coolest Things I Learned This Week

I joined a flower arrangement course (Lilleseade floristika), which is designed for people who are learning Estonian by doing hobbies. That was pretty cool and I had much fun there because it was my first time having a flower arrangement, it’s taught in Estonian, though. In the first class, I learned to make a Kimp (bouquet) by arranging a few different kinds of flowers 交錯地 with angles. It sounds easy but actually, you got to have some sense of beauty. I got three Gerbera (非洲菊), Kollane krüsanteem (黃色菊花) , Kipslill (滿天星 / Gypsophila), and Pistaatsia leaves(開心果的葉子!). Interesting to say, until now, I didn’t realize those yellow sunflower-like were actually gerbera. Ok, now I find the course is triple wins to me; get more sense of beauty (hopefully), learn more kinds of flowers, , and their names in both english and estonian.

Photo of the Week

I am so glad and appreciated I just arrived Tartu at the right time! I’ve been enjoying this poetic scenery for these two weeks. Wish my family would come to see the views together. Why didn’t I remember that I’d had the same feelings when I was here two years ago?! I arrived at almost the same day! The only thing about the vibes of Tartu’s autumn I remember was cold, dim, rainy days all the time.

Enjoyable Moment

So lucky to attend the first time of Taiwan’s National Day celebration in Tallinn. I got a chance meeting new people AND enjoying the feast! It was so elegant because it was served for the officials from some of Estonian government departments and organizations. We were even asked to dress up seriously though I wore my sneakers. I also packed up some left food. So Bella so foodie~~ I liked the stewed vegetable (big sliced eggplants, tomatoes, zucchini), lemony bulgur sald with shrimp and spinach (yes, I took a photo of its name so to remake it later), AND Celeriac salad (with orange fillet, walnuts, and waldorf dressing) which is my favorite. After seeing me filling three containers from the hotel with the yummies, other students asked the waitress and did what I did. We did not look like people from the kind of family capable of financially supporting their children to study abroad, did we?

Big pleasure to attend this big ceremony! Proud to be a Taiwanese.
